Wisdom Healing Qigong
Qigong-based Meditative Movement

 Tuesdays, on-going group
 6:15 to 7:15 pm
in the garden

We begin our practice with the powerful 8-verses that bring insight into our qigong practice and help set the qi field. We bring spaciousness into our mind/heart/body. We focus on w
arm-ups and the
Body-Mind Form. These powerful movements help us to unite the three energy centers of the body: head, heart and belly.
We focus on creating a supportive, energizing, compassionate healing circle.

These practices cultivate clarity, kindness and compassion, strength and presence with whatever arises so we can work more skillfully with the challenges of illness and daily life. We support each other and each share the wisdom of the group members. This group is for those who have some experience in meditation or meditative movement.

My classes and groups are open to anyone whose life has been affected by illness, loss, grief.  Classes, groups and retreats are part of the Healing Circles program at Commonweal. This innovative program is a collaborative education community that focuses on bringing transformative learning to the cancer care community.
