Seventh Annual
RENEWAL Retreat

A HEALING CIRCLES RETREAT
For Younger Women with Cancer
, in treatment and beyond

At  Commonweal Retreat Center in Bolinas

Labor Day weekend
Saturday, September 3—Monday, September 5, 2022

Facilitated by Maura Singer Williams, MA, Kathleen Colloton,
BSN, WHNP-C, and Inez

Cost: $400 (scholarships available)
Please note: This retreat is not for those newly diagnosed.
This retreat is subsidized by Dancing Saved My Life fundraiser so women with limited funds can have access to much needed stress reduction tools to help deal with the enormity—anxiety, stress, fear, helplessness —of cancer.

The retreat takes place in the beauty and tranquility of Commonweal Retreat Center, where the Cancer Help Program has been running for over 30 years. Lodging is in comfortable single rooms and
scrumptious, nutritious meals are included
We explore stress relief techniques, practice qigong and meditation, work with grief and loss in small groups and using ritual. We explore art, writing and movement as tools to find our voice and purpose through creativity. We connect with and draw from the  healing power of nature. The format of group work is based on Healing Circles principles to build companionship, support and trust in the inherent wisdom and compassion of each individual and the group.

There are 10 spots and the retreat fills up fast. The age range has been 23 to 54 and we are looking forward to a similar range this year.
Each participant will have a private room and meals prepared by Commonweal staff who cook from Cancer Fighting Kitchen recipes.

Cost is $400 for the 3 day/2 night retreat with everything included.
Scholarships are available, but women need to be able to contribute $50.

This low cost of this retreat is made possible by Dancing Saved My Life.
