TAKE-OUT
We’ve ordered food from Fratelli’s and found it to be very good. Big portions on entrees. The pizza was very good.
There is also a diner right outside Otis Woodlands on Route 8 (left out of the complex, diner on the right). We haven’t tried that.
The New Boston Inn Restaurant is about 15 minutes away going the other way on Route 8 (you may pass it on your way in) and has traditional fare. We haven’t tried this either. They may be closed some weekdays so call ahead.
For lunch/snacks, you can drive into East Otis and visit Katie’s Country Store which has a to-go restaurant and ice cream available. Typical ‘day at the beach’ type food, nothing too healthy.
Just down the road on the same side is Pappa’s market and deli inside the Gulf station that actually has a very well-stocked market, you can pickup basic grocery items there. They also have a deli with sandwiches, etc. The sandwiches we got were quite good.
GROCERIES
For grocery shopping, the Guido’s Market in Great Barrington and in Pittsfield are about equal distance away (30 minutes). The Big Y in Lee is about 25 mins away. The Berkshire Food Co-op (you don’t have to be a member) in Great Barrington is about 30 mins away.

Here is some basic information about staying at the cabin:
BEDS
When you arrive, beds will be made with fresh linens.
When you leave, please strip sheets and pillowcases from beds that have been used, and leave them in the hamper that’s in the back bedroom closet.
Please leave a set of sheets and pillowcases on each bed that’s been used for the next guests to make. The sheets are in the bottom floor bathroom closet. (Closet is behind the door).
